The first step to following your heart

I truly believe that the only way we can be happy in life is by choosing to be who we really are.

And to be who you really are, you need to have the courage and grit to communicate to the world what's in your heart.

It is a scary endeavor to open your heart - it makes you feel like a target, vulnerable, transparent, and naked.

But that transparency and nakedness also makes you feel alive - as if you belong to something bigger than yourself.

To step outside of your comfort zone does not mean you have to leave everything behind and start doing extreme sports or living in a state of anxiety.

To step outside of your comfort means to continue to be a student of life.

New borns are an example of what it means to be a student of life.

Babies come into a strange new world and learn at an exponential rate the wonders of the world. They learn to eat strange foods, they learn to crawl, they learn what hands and feet are, they learn how to walk (after failing many, many times!), and so much more.

As adults, we need to maintain that childlike curiosity and drive to expand and grow. We must not be afraid of the unknown.

To continue developing out minds by exploring that which is beyond our comfort zone allows us to learn not only new ideas and truths, but it also allows us to discover our untapped potential.

Embrace your childlike curiosity. Embrace the childlike desire to discover more about yourself and the world.

As a final note, I want to share with you a video that I watched long ago about a man who discovered himself by daring to step outside of his comfort zone. Check out the link below!

What did you think about the video? I would love to hear your thoughts. Let's connect!

Trust the process. Live the commitment
